Hi,
I have a limited 1997! 3.4L! Push Button 4WD.
My 4 wheel drive light is ON but I dont have any front wheel power.
Here is the symptom.
the Front T-case Shaft is free in 2WD and when I push 4WD the shaft is Locked.
I did the VSV test with a multimeters! pug both cable to the VSV plugs I got around 30 to 40 ohm! I tried to look for the 4WD ecu but cannot find on the left side kick panel but what I can find is that BLACK TAPPED stuff! (see attached photo) is possible that the previous owner by pass that 4WD ECU with that terrible thing?
