Front end 4wd issues. SAS lookin better every second.

changed my mind on the SAS. lookin for a 80 series LC w factory lockers. easy solution to a neverending problem. and for the money, i think itll b worth it

changed my mind on the SAS. lookin for a 80 series LC w factory lockers. easy solution to a neverending problem. and for the money, i think itll b worth it. dont get me wrong, im not abandoning my 4runner (i love it). i just want something that i dont have to be so careful with. limping home 300 miles with gear oil slingin everywhere was not fun.

definitely not. ive gone through a few sets.

If you have the cheap aftermarket CV's from advance or autozone then that is your problem. they are not made well and the steel is cheap and not heat treated properly. i know of a couple people that had the same probelm as you and it was all due to the cheap CV axles. get some OEM toyota ones and you will be much better off. FWIW, i'm still on my originals and i have yet to break a CV.

thats what im plannin on. theyre a little pricier, so i gotta save a little to get the yota ones. but thats the plan, use the factory and keep the aftermarket for backups when wheelin.
