Front end clunk

Noticed I have a cluck in the front end, can make it happen at low speeds if hit the brakes hard or when backing up from a stop.

So far i have replaced the following before doing my lift. I think its my LCA bushings, but not sure. So looking to see if anyone has had a similar issue.

Replaced:

UCA
LBJ
OTRE
Steering Rack Bushings

So the only things i havent replaced in the front is the sway bar bushing, LCA bushings, and i think thats about it.

I have a 2001 T4R that started doing this as well. I replaced everything you have, but come to find out it was my transmission mount that was worn out. It was causing the transmission to move slightly and hit. Although, when it rains really hard I still have a slight clunk, but only when raining? Pretty strange but I have read the T4R's are notorious for odd clunks. Check that trans mount bro!

I would suggest looking up CV axle noise. Kinda sounds like a clunk at low speeds like you're describing. I had the same clunk as you and dos all of the things you did but also did new CVs and a steering rack. Now it's all good to go.

Done the tundra brakes upgrade recently? I had some clacking out of those in reverse at one point...

I'm also noticing a clunk with my vehicle, I can hear it with windows rolled down when I make a right turn or go over some bumps but after putting a camera under the vehicle, it seems to be present more frequently than just when I hear it. Trying to narrow it down... A couple of people already mentioned the front sway bar (the end links are new OEM with energy suspension bushings but the sway bar bushings have not been replaced yet) so I'll take it off completely and drive around tomorrow and see if the noise is still there... Incidentally I've also done the Tundra brake upgrade a few months back so will also check those, thanks for the heads up. So far I have new OEM ITR, OTR, UBJ, LBJ, Monroe Quick Strut assembly, just 2000 miles ago. I have not done power steering rack bushings or the UCA/LCA bushings...

I had a mysterious clunk. replaced sway bar bushings and removed/torqued back the steering rack guide. That solved my issues.

I could hear the clunk at low speed only, and could reproduce it by pushing hard on the truck (from the outside) to make it move from side to side.

Yours do not really sound like this but worth a try. Also, might just be the brake pad's movement fwd-aft (kinda normal) from what you are telling.

My guess is the LCA bushings. The sway bar bushings are pretty easy to check, but unless you really know what to check its hard to tell the lca bushings are bad because they are always under tension. Jack up the frame, remove the tire, sway bar, 4 bolts on the lower ball joint and the lower shock bolt. This will take the tension off the lca and you will know right away if they are bad.

This probably doesn't apply to you, but if you have a rust problem, check the vacuum can in the drivers side wheel well. My vacuum can bracket rusted through and ended up dangling by the vacuum hose. I zip tied it back until I find a better solution.
