Front end noise and vibration

I'm getting a humming and a little vibration. It mostly happens at highway speeds, and only happens when there's any type of steering input to the right. The noise first started when after I was driving down to Arkansas from St. Louis. It started when I was at about the half way point of a 5 hour drive. A couple weeks before that I changed out the driver side CV axle. At first I thought it was a wheel bearing, so I changed that, but it did nothing. Changed the CV axle again, and there was no change. I'm thinking it has something to do with the diff. It sounds like it's coming from either the driver side, or the center of the vehicle. Any one have issues with the v8 differentials, or have any ideas on what else this could be?

Sounds like wheel bearing. Did you change them both? I think the noises manifest from the opposite side that is bad.

I only changed the driver side. I have an extra for the passenger, but I haven't done it yet. The humming sounds like it's coming from the driver side, or possibly the center, which is why I've been focusing there. Which I probably should have stated my original post..

Yeah. Especially if you already have the other hub assembly. I would go ahead and swap it out. I replaced a bad hub assembly and the other went bad within 10k miles. So might as well do them in pairs. If it's not. I would focus on the diff. Have you changed the differential and transfer case fluids?

Diff fluid gets changed any time I do the cv axle. I've probably changed it 5 times since I bought the 4Runner in 2015. Besides the first time changing the it, the fluid always looks brand new. No metal shavings that I could see, color is still the same as when I put it in.

It's probably been 2 1/2 years, roughly 10-15k miles, since I've changed the transfer case fluid.
