Front end noise?

Was transitioning from pavement to dirt today on base (maybe a 2 to 3 inch difference) at about 10 mph; and as the first tire hit the dirt and the suspension rebounded, I heard a sort of metallic 'doink' coming from the right front end. LBJs/OTREs were just replaced; and I saw nothing that led me to believe anything was wrong.

Any thoughts on what this 'might' be? Struts/shocks?

Did the sound resonate or was it more of a clunk?

Sorry, I should have been a LOT more detailed. LOL Specifically, as I was driving REAL slow from the pavement and hit the dirt (you know, when you're trying to go real slow because the road is choppy as hell), I heard a solid metallic 'clunk.' No resonation; just made a sound and that was it.

I know that's not much at all to go on; and it could be nothing. This being said, better to ask a question with not much of a clue (and it's pretty dang hard to search using terms like 'clunk' and 'right front tire' LOL) than to not ask a question for 'fear' of ridicule, and end up with something broken or jacked up. *shrug*
