Front Fog Light Wiring Protection

After just replacing my '08 fog lamps with 9006 Silverstars, I was amazed at the lack of protection from the elements for the wires and bulb connectors. (New England driver here).

Considering a few options like putting some gobs of liquid tape on there or just heavy wrapping with Gorrilla tape etc...

Anyone done anything to keep that connection clean and working?

I would use some 3M Scotch 23 or 130C tape. It is not your average Home Depot/Lowe's electrical tape(Scotch 33, 35, or Super 88). It is self bonding, but can be cut off in the future if you needed access. Here is a link to a Grainer Catalog page with the various Electrical tapes. The good tape can be pretty pricey thou.

You pull/stretch it is you put it on and it seals to itself.
