Front Impact... now upgrading.

So last week someone reversed into my front end at a decent speed and caused a significant amount of damage. Insurance is not totaling it but will hand over a check which is fine by me, so I went ahead and bought a Demello bumper.

Just figure with all the parts that would have to be bought to repair why not just put the steel bumper on and save myself alot of labor. The fender will need collision work(pushed to the side by 3-4mm), Im not that experience with that sort of thing.

But I know need to compensate for the added weight from the bumper... My xreas have 140k, so Ill take the time upgrade the suspension. Will this work?

Bilstein 5100's all around
112-620 - Toytec/Eibach front coils
1.5" daystar spacer/ rear with stock springs

Trying to do this on a somewhat budget... Any help would be great.

if you can convince the adjuster that the impact has cause some suspension damage, like its making the lines leak, that should add more money to the check. remember a leaking line will require 2 shocks of each opposite corner.
since the truck has alot of miles now, switch out all the springs.

Thats not a bad idea at all.... what rear springs should I go with if Im going to go with the Eibach coils in the front? Doe mixing and matching matter?

if your on the cheap, the moog fj is a decent stuff, but be aware of the rears not wanting to fully seat down, its not going to harm anything i think, but for 110 for all 4 is not bad.
also some users here start sourcing through other forums and craigslist for used oem fj springs. some go through toytec and icon.
what ever you do, make the impact look even worse before the adjuster comes, atleast remove some headlights and put some crack ones on if you want new lights or bigger check. hopefully your ac lines arent wrecked from the front. that would suck too.

Why not smash the windshield while your at it. I'm sure it has some small chips.

Going another route...

Staying with 5100's but going with Dobinsons springs.

Front - C59-314
Rear - C59-505

I smashed the fogs and the headlights already broken at the brackets. No chips in the windshield... leaving that alone.

Probably the worst advice I've ever seen on this forum...knowing people who work in auto insurance, like my friend who spent over 2 years training to be an auto adjuster. A lot of that was spent training in the fraud department. They're not as dumb as you think. If they let it go, it's usually because it's a waste of their time.

I was joking about the windshield.
