Upgrading stock springs with Bilstein 5100’s

I’d like to upgrade the front stock springs on my 05’ 4Runner v8 4wd. I currently have Bilstein 5100’s with stock springs and a 1.5” spacer. This is how the vehicle was when I bought it… but as you can see in the image there’s a dent in the spacer which looks like it was from contact with the stock UCA and it looks like the top hat might have been affected as well.

So I’d like to get rid of the spacers and replace the stock springs with something better… I see kits being sold with the Toytec/Eibach 112-620 springs for a 2.5” lift but then if I just look for the Eibach springs that fit the 4th gen 4Runner I get a different model… specifically the Eibach E30-82-073-01-20 springs for a 2.75” lift, but I haven’t found that model being used or sold with Bilstein shocks anywhere… Does anyone have any insight on this or which one is better for the Bilstein 5100’s? An alternative spring I believe would be OME 2885 springs but either way I’m hoping that would prevent the contact and make the suspension stronger. Looking for any helpful insights here on a cost effective upgrade?

Are you carrying any extra weight? Looks like from your sig, nothing significant. Guessing with the 285 tires, youre shooting for a 2.5 - 3 inch lift.

Im not sure exactly about the difference between the toytec coils and the eibach. Id contact the customer service at toytec and see if they explain the difference to you (though they may lean towards selling the toytec)

The ARB 2885s are a tried and true lift to pair with the 5100s and should give you a 2-2.5 inch lift with the V8

I tried calling Toytec yesterday but couldn’t get anyone to answer I’ll try again today. I’ll check out that Facebook page thanks .

Yea, I emailed them through the contact us on their webpage and they got back to me after a day.

Hmm. Thats weird. Does your UCA seem to hang really low. I would think that it would be difficult for it to flex that much but maybe with a high lift and the stock UCA. Maybe something got wedged in there for a while.

Thanks for the response [MENTION=306000]Syr4RinNC[/MENTION] I didn’t get a chance to call today work got crazy, but I will try again hopefully tomorrow. I’ll email if I don’t get through next time.

Not sure how to tell if my UCA is hanging low? Nothing seems unusual but I’m also not an expert… any suggestions of what to look for?
