Front left wheel noise(possibly bearing or hub??)

I'm hearing a noise from the driver side front wheel when I tale off and come to a stop. I had my brother roll the truck in drive while I walked beside and I watched the hub. It turns out of round. It seems to jump around. So, bearing or hub or both?

If you can notice its moving while walking beside I would not even consider driving it another inch!! Check your wheel bearings, and or make sure the castle nut is snug with the proper pre-load.

I parked it as soon as I noticed the issue. Thanks for the help, I'll check it tomorrow.

If you are wondering you can do a check to see if it is the hub/bearing(depends on the year and if 2/4wd). Just jack it up and grab the wheel by the bottom and top and rock them back and forth, you shouldn't have any play. If you do then the hubs shot. Usually a pretty easy job to do, done it penlty of times on other cars.

Guess your not going to be mad at me then for not getting the wire diagram to you yet. You won't need that if you can't drive it.

It's been busy at the shop, I don't remember until I get home. I did by a nice hp wireless scanner, copier, printer.
