Front Lift Help!

So I've decided that I want to do front lift to level out the truck. So far I've heard anywhere from 3/4in. to 2in. would do the trick. Does anyone now exactly how much of a lift the front end would need to get the truck level. Also, since I'm pretty new to modding I'm a little unsure on what the pro and cons are with spacers vs. coilovers other than the price. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I just did mine last week, and got the alignment done today. Used the Toytec top spacers, and I am VERY happy with the results. It still has a SLIGHT rake, which is perfect. The difference is noticeable. I did the install without using a spring compressor (search "no spring compressor" ) by myself and it wasn't hard, took about 2 hrs. Maybe it's my imagination, but the truck seems to track better now, and not wander as much. Probably the alignment...

How high did you lift the truck? Did you lift front and rear?

Just did the front top spacer leveling kit- I guess it raised the front about an inch or so (didn't measure).

+1 for the top plate spacer kit. It looks much better, and was a cheap and quick fix for the rake.

The way the toytec kit works there isn't any risk or disadvantage. You may have better performance if you spring for the bilstein shocks, but the spacers work just fine to level it out.
