Front Lift Options??

Okay so I'm looking to get a leveling spacer lift up front. I've seen the 1" level lift and it still doesn't look level. I figure I would get a 1.5" (if that even exists) or a 2" lift. Any suggestions or pictures. would 2" make it nose high???
Brand??? place to buy???

I've seen a 2" front 1" rear kit on burtman however I only want to lift the front.

Any help, suggestions, pictures, links to other threads would help a lot. Thanks in Avance.

This is with a 2" front/ 1" rear lift. When I installed it, I did the front spacers one day, and then installed the rear spacers on the second day. It was slightly nose high with just the 2" front. I would suggest a 1.5" except they don't exist. You have to either go with a 1" leveling kit, or get the 2/1 lift and either just install the front spacers, or just do the whole thing. The only 1.5" spacer that exists is by Daystar, but that's for the rear.

Here's the 2/1, and you can click on the cornfed lift link in my signature for more pictures, including before/after shots.

Thanks for the replies.

Bowhunter,
Thanks for the compliment. The wheels aren't chrome they are the graphite grey wheels from tundra/sequoia. Just got them to replace FJ Wheels I had on before.

Josh,
Thanks for the info. It's too bad for me that a 1.5" doesn't exist.
I may just have to ponder about this some more. I may just end up getting the 2/1 and doing it one at a time. Would you happen to have any pics of your truck with just the front lift. Also, how does it ride after the lift. stiff, bouncy rear??

Your runner looks Awesome by the way.

Thanks, and no, sorry I don't have any pics of just the front. What I recommend is get the 2/1, because the 1" leveling kit probably isn't what you are looking for. Install the front 2" spacer, and then decide if you want the rear one or not. The front is the hardest one, so if you decide you want the rear in also, it's only about a 1 hour install. I did my back spacers by myself in about an hour and a half, including my lunch break.

The ride is a little stiffer, but I didn't notice it anymore by the next day. You get used to it too fast.

I just measured the space between the tire and the fender today on the front and back. The back is 2.5" higher than the front stock. I think I am going with a 3" in the front and a 1.5" in the rear, from toytec. This will still result in a 1" rake, that will hopefully not be noticable. I will post pics, but probably wont be done for at least a couple weeks.

I like those wheels and thing they have the same offset and back space as the FJ wheels , look good . I take it you did not like the FJ wheels ?? I like them to and wanted to get a set . I have Galactic Gray and wondered how that color rim would look on it ?

Anyway I have a 1" leveling kit (cornfed) that I have not installed yet , I also have really grown to like the 2/1 cornfed. I do NOT want it level because of the lines of the truck and I do pull a trailer so I like a 1" nose drop that the 2 cornfed lifts I mentioned above have or atleast was told there is still a 1" difference.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I was out fishing yesterday and on the way back home I saw a T4R with a 3/1 custom wheels and fat a$$ tires. I would totally do that but having a family changes things. I makes it a pain for my wife & daughter to get into the car.
I thought the FJ front suspension was the same as the T4R i guess I was wrong. That along with a 1" would probably work.
My friend has an FJ that he upgraded the suspension, I'll have to ask if he still has his oem.
Not sure which one to go for now. the 2/1 still sounds good as well.
about my wheels. It's not that I didn't like the FJ wheels it's that I've always wanted these. I like that these are a little darker. Yes the offset is the same as FJ wheels

Don't listen to Josh. As usual, he doesn't know what he's talking about. Not only do 1.5" front lifts exist, but they've been sold to members of this forum. Just search posts by Even Steven and you'll find pictures of a member's 4Runner with his 1.5" front lift installed.

Odd or Even?

Not that Josh needs me defending him, but the tone of your post was BS. Telephone Tough Guy?

According to this post by Even Steven his lift is a 1" leveling kit!

First of all, don't worry about my tone. I AM Even Steven, but I was banned by baby-face Thai. Josh is a dork who doesn't know what he's talking about.

As for the spacers, I've sold 1", 1.25", and 1.5" lift kits. Try searching a little harder and you'll eventually find the threads on all three sizes with pictures as well. Have a nice day.

I figured Odd Eddie would be a good name for me since I was banned as Even Steven. LOL

Yeah well unless he decides to get them custom ordered, or to buy them from a completely non-reputable seller such as yourself, I stand by my previous statement. Can you show me a company that sells them as a standard size? Did it ever occur to you that you were banned for a reason?

Flo4Run, I suggest trying what CJ3Flyr said, and see if they will make one custom for you. Good luck.

Flo , Talk to jason @ Burtman I think he can custom make them to what ever you want.

JOSH , remember our PM conversation a while back .....lol:D

Okay I sent an email to the "contact us" addres @ the burtman website. I guess I'll find out during the work week.

Don't get angry because you were wrong. You said that they don't exist and you're obviously wrong. Non-reputable? Everyone who ordered spacers got them right away. Nobody has ever returned a spacer kit or even asked to return a kit.

BTW, the reason I got banned is because I argued with Thai and it turned out he was proven wrong. The same thing would happen to anyone who argues with Thai. It's his MO, didn't you know that?
