Seen these new cars with multiple individual LED lights in a curved strip located in the bottom of the normal headlight ?

I thought most state laws say no more than a certain number of front lights "on" at once.

They are slipping through the cracks. Most states have restrictions on auxiliary driving/passing lamps, fog lamps, and roof-mounted off-road light bar lighting devices. In all the codes I read through, nothing was really updated to say anything about LEDs. The closest thing I saw was codes restricting more than 4 lights that project a beam of intensity greater than three hundred candlepower, which LED's I am assuming do not, so they do not fall into this.

It continues that if the light is over 300 candle power it has to be pointed down to not go any farther than 75 ft in front of the vehicle at any time.
