Front locker identification

Hello, I just picked up an 88 4Runner as a winter vehicle. After many years away from the 4wd scene (have owned several lifted jeeps), I'm glad to be back.

Here's the truck. It's pretty beat, but what could I expect for a $1k winter beater?

It's locked front and rear. Can anyone identify the brand and model of this front drop in locker? I can see the markings of E 8 DGZ on it????

looks like a lockright to me.

i guess it could be any brand, but it is a lunchbox style locker

Yep! That's the Richmond Gear logo. Thanks for the help. The rear is locked too, but I believe they probably just spooled it. Lots of work ahead on this truck!

i recognized it because i installed the lockright in the rear.

you would know if it had a lunch-box style locker in the back because it would ratchet and click around corners. with a spool it would just make the inner tire spin. I get the feeling it could be welded in the back. lots of people do that
