Front passenger CV diff leak ?

Hey everyone,
So I snapped a cv shaft this past Sunday and changed it out yesterday with a NAPA reman. one. I installed it and everything went smooth. Couple hours later, and a test drive, no leaks. I drove to work and drove back (8hrs after I did the job) and no leaks.

HOWEVER, I went to sleep and woke up this morning with the damn thing leaking on me. Any ideas???
If it was a bad seal wouldn't it start to leak right away?

Any help would be appreciated.

What side did it start leaking on? Mine did the same after I Rebuilt and put the CV shafts back in. It was the inner CV seal located inside the diff. My Yota tech guy told me they can wear down over time and will not create a clean seal.

It's the passenger side.

you probably damaged the outer seal on the diff with whatever tool you pried the cv out with. It happens. Or it pushed in and now no longer seals. The replacement seals are cheap to get at the dealer.

I went to Toyota and they didn't have it, so I stopped at the local auto parts store and after arguing with the damn lady behind the counter (she had no ****n idea what I was talking about), in the end I came home with this. Can someone please tell me I bought the right one? Lol

I looked it up online 052-3749 beck/arnley and it said diff seal so I'm hoping it is. Last thing I want is my runner down and wrong part

that looks about right if i can remember. I know the drivers and passenger side are different size. Its a super easy seal to change.

After class I'll go and get this done then. So from research my plan of action is to pull the old seal with a screwdriver, place the new seal and gently tap it in with an extension and mallet, and tap it in till the seal is flush with the diff, then install the cv shaft.

EDIT:
Easy to yank out the seal, PITA to place the new one since its a friction type of seal. But all is good right now, thanks again guys!
