Front Passenger Heat

I did a little searching on this and didn't find anything. The front seat passenger doesn't get any hot air on their feet. The driver's feet are sweating and the driver is so warm, they are about to pass out while passenger is freezing. It was -16 windchill yesterday so this problem was worse.

Common problem or not?

If not, I will do some looking around. Mabe a vent flap isn't moving when the airflow lever is moved.

Uncommon problem.
Check for obvious obstructions. If you block off the drivers side (with a rag or similar) does that 'redirect' the airflow to the passenger? Lets hope a flap/valve isnt stuck, that could be fun to fix....
