front receiver hitch

I personally would have lowered the hitch to the center of the cross member because it reduces the torque on the piece

I'm learning stuff.

The raised receiver location works best for cutting a hole in the grill.

p.s. JohnJMonroe has surley just set the record for most gargantuan photos in a post.

Ha Ha. Sorry about that. I'm not too savy about resizing pictures.

Dan has indicated he is willing to sell these hitches. He has the 3d models ready to go and can probably also sell the un-welded pieces.

When I contacted him to make mine, I told him the 4running community would be interested.

I won't comment on what he will sell them for, but mine was very reasonable.

Oh, and my 4runner is a 2002 SR5. I think it has the limited flares.

Don't resize them. They can stand forever as the pic posting size champ standard to which all can aspire.

Your bumper and mine are same. I compared photos.

I'll reach out to Dan tmrw or tues.

Hey guys, John mentioned he posted up pictures of the front hitch installed here and I figured I'd register on these boards as well :)

I just updated the website to include the front hitch, and would love to build more if anyone would like one. Questions, comments, feedback always appreciated as well!

High Clearance Front Hitch for 3rd Gen 4Runner | Next Venture Motorsports

Cheers!

it looks like a bolt on unit with 3 pieces, the 2 end brackets and the crossbar/receiver.
