Got my rack with the table and kit installed this past cloudy Sunday here in ATX. Still need to get the expedition rail up sometime this week.

Installed my rack today!
How do you feel about the drilling?
It wasn't bad. I was surprised how thick the metal was. My drill bit kept grabbing when it first broke through, I thought for sure I was going through the headliner, but never did. The thought of drilling in my roof was worse then the actual install. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again, the rack is super sturdy.

What waterproofs the insert/drilled hole?
After I installed the rivnut, I put silicone (per the instructions) around and in the bolt hole

Front Runner only allows it once per year.

The group buys for Front Runner seem to only be once a year and Apex carries them for 70 bucks off regular price. I ordered one a week ago and got it a few days later. No sales tax either if not in NC.
