Front Runner Roof Rack Question

Has any tired mounting an LED bar under their Slimline roof rack? if so, how has it gone?

I'm looking at mounting a 40" Morimoto Xtorch using the Front Runner hardware. I've heard mounting a LED bar under the rack will cause whistling at speed? has anyone encountered this? has anyone used the front runner hardware?

I got the idea of mounting a bar under the rack by looking at SixthSnail's set up

I had a flat t slotted rack similar to the front runner and mounted a 40" bar underneath. There will be a gap between the rack and the light bar but just use some weather stripping stuff to close that gap to get rid of the whistling. This is what i used

I have a Cali Raised slim 43" light bar mounted directly to the front of my FrontRunner rack (not above or below.) It does not whistle, but at higher speeds (especially if it is already windy) it makes a deep pitched moaning sound. I am going to add a faring I think.
