Noticed oil in driveway, checked it out and found oil from the front has a leak, drip from the front driver’s side. There is what looks like a sway bar well under that. I see some oil fresh from where I marked a spot and yes it is my $ Runner Leaking. Anyone have anything similar?

Timing cover leak due to how toyota seals these V6s… generally not enough to need oil between changes but if you don’t wipe it up at every oil change it will build up and then drip somewhere if it doesn’t blow down the underside on the freeways.

Another spot to check is the crankshaft seal.

I had a small leak around 148k KM (around 91k miles) that I noticed a couple years ago, and it ended up being the crankshaft seal. It was a small leak that ended up taking the few periodic visits while getting regular maintenance (after almost 20k km) for them to finally determine what it was as it was a slow leak and would only occasionally leak onto the ground (after building up enough in the skid plates; just a few drips every now and again). They ended up cleaning the engine bay and would come back the following week as the leak was small.

The first visit to check they couldn't determine where the leak was coming and the oil level really wasn't dropping so I would just occasionally check oil levels to make sure it wasn't an issue. The serpentine belt did get some oil on as well. The 2nd or 3rd regular visit they did finally determine it was the crankshaft seal, they did note it wasn't super critical but recommended and I did get them to replace the seal and serpentine belt at the same time and hasn't leaked since.

The dealership noted this wasn't super common (smaller Atlantic Canadian dealership), but they did see maybe 1 or 2 per year, so this is a potential other area to check.

Oil leak update.

Contrary to my previous belief, the power steering reservoir was empty. However, from the top of the engine compartment, I observed that the area near the reservoir is completely dry. As previously mentioned, the oil is located on the opposite side of the 4R.

This is one of your photos from the other website.

It looks like someone treated some areas with some type of fluid film to slow the rust down.

Without ample photos and better explanation, it is hard for members to assist with questions.
Just a heads up for future postings!
