front seats

I have located some front bucket seats from a 1990 runner. Will they fit in a 96 model?? thanks

Not without modifying the mounts. Easier to just find 96-02 seats. 3rd gen seats came with lots of different options. All will fit, but some have electronics and some are totally plain depending on trim model. I got a great deal on an almost mint entire set from a member here on t4r a couple years ago, but I looked for a while. Call some junkyards, I've found they usually ask about $100-150 for a single front seat in decent shape.

Also try Craig's List. There is almost always someone parting out a 4Runner in this area.

I just found a set of seats on Craigslist for $150 for my 4Runner!
