Front sloid axle or long travel kit?

So... Here in the near future I'm selling my 350z and picking up either a 1st or 2nd get 4runner and building it up.

So my question is:

Front solid axle or a long travel suspension kit...

I would be looking for a 4-5 inch lift to run 35's with plenty of travel/flex.

What are the advantages of each and which would you guys prefer?

It really depends on what type of wheeling you are going to build the truck for.
A solid axle is going to be the best choice for rockcrawling due to it's strength.
IFS would give you a better ride for things like desert running, etc.

I will be pretty much doing anything and everything. I am thinking the long travel a-arm kit from Total Chaos because it's pretty much all bolt but a solid axle would be pretty cool too.
