Front strut is moving around in top plate!

I put in the new PP springs and shocks about 18,000 miles ago and the driver side strut is leaning way off center, all the way to the shock tower metal. The passenger side is dead center and isn't moving around but on the driver side I can grab the shock piston and wiggle it with a slight metal on metal sound. I tried tightening the nut but its all the way down... I'm guessing the bushing came apart?

PP as in Performance Products? That company changed hands so I wonder if you can get a warranty replacement. I would definitely get that fixed ASnAP
