Front Sun Shade/Hack/Mod?

I live in a area which the sun is constantly shining and reaches temperatures of 130 F...

I want to know if anybody knows of a good front windshield sunshade mod/hack/product... preferable something really fast and easy to put up like a retractable one.... I was looking at fold out ones but its always a pain in the butt to take it out and put it back.

I was thinking suction cup mounts at the top of your front windshield, and it retracts down... or suction cupped mounted on the driver side and retracts to the passenger side...

Also, anybody have experience with retractable shades at all? good? bad?

Every suction cup or retractable style shade I've ever come across either didnt stick properly, or stopped working correctly after a short while. Plus they're just an eye-sore

It may not be the most convenient for storage, but this style works the best by far.. I have one for each of my vehicles.
