front suspension clunking during load

Anyone experience clunking noises from their front suspention? I can hear a clunking on either side (but never both sides at the same time) when I pull into my drive way and run over the curb. I can also hear it when my front suspension compresses from braking at a stop. This problem usually happens when i drive my runner after it has been sitting for a while i.e. in the morning to work or back home.

I also hear the clunking noise when my steering goes to full lock either direction. It's usually just one clunk then it's over. I'm thinking it might be a loose sway bar but to be honest, I don't know that much about suspensions. My runner is not lifted and never has been...yet. Thanks for the help.

I had the same problem, sway bar end link, look under the front behind the tire (closer to the door), there will be a bar coming across from the opposite side and a bolt looking bar attached to it going vertically. more than likely that is what broke, go to an auto parts store and get some moog sway bar links they are pretty easy to install yourself.

I would suspect a worn bushing in either the sway bar, or sway bar link(s).
Could also be shock bushings.

As for the clunk when steering is at full lock, check your steering stops, the plastic caps are probably gone and you get metal-on-metal contact.

Just replaced mine. Didn't realize they were bad for some time, until one snaped totally.
Had been told by a tech that my jiggle at 68mph was a worn bushing in the steering rack.

Jiggle gone...
