I was under my '97 4runner the other day and noticed that one of my sway bar end link was missing the top half, were it attaches to the sway bar on the drivers side. I also noticed that both mounts to the frame had spit out there rubbers. So I tracked down the cheapest OEM replacements I could find, at toyota parts express $30 for OEM frame bushings and OEM clamps. I bought Moog end links from Advance auto for $60. I ordered the clamps and bushings on the computer yesturday. Today I get into the dismantling of it and notice that the sway bar is a little eroded under where the bushings go, and there is some slop where the links go thru the bar as well. I didn't know if this was a common problem with the stock bar or what? The vehicle did spend a few years up north in ohio, any input on this would be great!
