Hey guys,

I hope someone can help me with this. The obvious is I will go to my mechanic to check it out but an answer here would help me out prior to going to him.

Out of no where a knocking sound from the front drivers side wheel appeared. Here is how I can describe it.....

When pressing on the gas from a dead stop i can feel a knock under my left foot where I rest it on the molded foot rest. You can hear it as well. When I apply the brakes I hear it a little less. I haven't really drove around to experiement to much as it just happened 30 minutes ago. I also heard it during a turn onto my driveway while pressing the brakes. I ruled out brakes as it knocks when I apply the gas.

I visually inspected the front wheel but could not see anything wrong.

Is this a bad CV joint, does it have to do with the front drive shaft. Anyone had this problem before/similar symptoms and can tell me what it could be?

Your answers will be greeatly appreciated!!!
