2000 SR5 4WD ABS. Looking for a write up for replacing the front wheel bearing. Also is there one or two cause I see mention of inner like there might be an outer.

just looked at Alldata, if you don't have a shop press, what you can do is to remove: wheel, brake caliper, rotor, disconnect the CV, separate upper ball joint from the UCA, lower ball joint plate(no need to separated the BJ itself) and take the whole knuckle to a shop to have the hub pressed out then the bearing.

you will need new bearing, 2x oil seal, snap ring.

Why would I need two oil seals? Sorry but this is a foreign subject to me and I want to make sure I ask all the questions even if they are the stupid or obvious kind.

Also what is the best place to get these items?.

Inner and outer oil seals......and Toyota.

Would you know here I can get a good illustration of the front hub and where the oil seals go. I like to be able to see what I should be looking for as Im taking this apart. You mentioned pressing the hub and than pulling the bearing. Did you mean that you need a press to pull the bearing or is pressing the hub a different procedure?. Also is there only one bearing on the front, I see a mention of inner and outer but I think that is on older ones. Seals from Toyota what about the bearing.

Bearing from Toyota and seals from Toyota, I'm a firm believer in OEM parts.....
Here is a factory service manual link....
1996 to 2002 Toyota 4Runner OEM Repair and Wiring Manuals

The bearing is pressed into the hub and without a press you would never get it out.... you have to pull the whole steering knuckle off the vehicle.

Yes, 1 double roller bearing on each side in the front.
