Just in case you DONT know, theres a multiquote function. (Not trying to bark at you about the 2 posts, a lot of people just actually dont know!) Some states allow a VHT spray coating in spray form... most who allow it will allow up to 70%, but to be SAFE, dont pass 90%.

Just an fyi I spend at least 6 hrs a week in my runner on the hwy and its nice to be able to relax and the reduction of eye fatigue is very nice. Yes its a gamble on a ticket. . Ill take my chances. And I have no problems night driving. To be honest you cant tell that much of a difference at night.

to tint the Whole windshield, but i did my upper part (even went about 3inches below the little lines on the sides) with 35%-just right to calm the sun down at certain angles. Did my front windows in legal 20% which just about matches the factory rear windows, rear compartment and rear window. Nice.

-my 4Runner getting repainted and destripped. 50% front, 2% front/rear.
First time in the snow with the new paint job (repainted silver bumper to satin black)

Front view of the windshield tint to give you a general idea of how drop dead sexy your 4R can look with 2% front/rear and 50% front windshield.
Either way, I like the way my 4R currently looks with the windshield tint which was the last job I had done in regard to tinting a while back. Oh by the way...I live in Virginia so they only allow 50% front 35% back & no tint allowed on windshield. $96 fine every time for me in Virginia Beach but I haven't been ticketed in like 4-5 years so I guess the city gave up on that cash cow.

Gonna get more then police driving around with that on, In Chicago it would be a instant ass whooping pending your not shot first by the gang bangers

Well I did get the windshield done and I love it!!! Now, I'm gonna have to have the rear window done. The factory tint is too light now.

What percent tint did you go wit bro? Yeah dude factory is like 26-28%....definitely nothing fancy. I highly recommend 2% rear and 20% over 50% front to hit that "not too light but not too dark enough where the police can't see you" idea. Do it. And we need moar pictures
