Frontrunner cross Bar

Does anyone have the exact measurement for a cross bar on the Frontrunner 4Runner rack. Trying to figure out if I can mount a Denver outfitters rod vault onto my rack.

The slats are just about 3.5" wide and just under 1' thick. I believe rod vaults work up to 3.5" crossbars so in theory they should fit, but that is just an educated guess. If it ends up not fitting, I've adapted rack accessories to the t slots in the slats before and you may be able to come up with something.
