Frontrunner Drawer System

Been researching these drawers and other drawers systems for a while. I wanted the max size we could fit in the rear of our 4runners and I also wanted something before our annual road trip to Colorado next month. Frontrunner USA is a short 20min drive from me so these seemed like a no brainier

These are a little bigger and heavier (~150lbs) than the ARB drawers and very close to the Goosegear 12" double drawers. Again, Frontrunner being a local company with an inventory of items in stock, I chose them over Goosegear.

I took out the stock carpet padding and made a 1/2" baltic birch plate system with T-Nuts on the bottom to bolt the drawer to. The plate bolts to the body using the stock 4 tie down locations. I left the third row brackets in place just in case I need them in the future and also to retain the stock look. While I was at it I added some Stinger Roadkill (from Amazon) sound deadener. All hardware is grade 10 Allen M6X1.0 bolts.

Was thinking about making some side wings and front covers but right now my camp chairs and tables fit perfectly on the side of the drawers, so no need at the moment.
