Frontrunner rack - Solid platform

I've been trying to search, but haven't found much..

Anyone add slats to their frontrunner racks to make a solid platform rather than having the gap? Thinking of adding a couple slats to my rack, but wanted to see some pics, and inquire if anyone saw any downsides..

Defconbrix (IG and tacomaworld) is the only one that comes to mind that had the whole tray. it mounts the same way the other slats do with the exception of the spaces where the side tray combiners are at. those use a plate that ties into the two next to it and uses a shorter slat.

Yea.. I may add, but leave those areas that need the spacer...
