Frozen H2 gear transfer case

Shifted into H4 the other day and did some 4 wheelin, got back on the road and tried to shift back into H2, no luck. Acts as if it doesnt even exist (hits some kind of wall). All other gears work fine, but just dont feel like 4 wheelin my way around town all day long. hopin to fix this as soon as possible for commuting. Any suggestions?

Mine binds up from time to time as well. Just put it in gear and rock on and off the gas and just force the lever back up to 2H. When it lets go it will pop pretty loud but afaik mine is still fine and it's done this a lot over the years...
