You guys need to offer the 9" widths with a much more negative offsets. Once you lift these trucks, the stance shrinks an inch and these wheels suck into the wheel well. Several members run your wheels with spacers which in my opinion defeats the purpose of running custom wheels.
My 360 forged wheels are 9" width with negative 25 offset. With the truck lifted, this is near flush with the fender. I would consider buying a second set from you folks if you offered the same or more aggressive offset on both your countersteer Xs or your FN BFD's.

We do offer two 17" models with negative offsets : 17x8" / -10mm offset Konig Countersteer Type X and the 17x8.5" / -6mm FN Wheels Five Star. These wheels push the wheels out approximately 1.25" and 1.3" (per corner) respectively when compared to an OEM 17x7.5" Trail / SR5 wheel.
We also offer a 17x8" / 0mm offset Konig Six Shooter wheel which pushes the wheels out approximately .84" more than the OEM wheels.
There are a number of posts showing the stance of our wheels on 4th and 5th Gen 4Runners as well, and the wheels are not sunken in (they sit flush our slightly outside the fender line). The 17x8" / 0mm offset wheels fit about flush on lifted 4Runners, and the 17x8" / 17x8.5" negative offset wheels put the wheel/tire approximately .5" - 1.0" outside the fender. I suspect your 17x9" / -25mm offset wheels put the tire about 2.0" +/- outside the fender, which is a little too aggressive for most of the 4Runner owners that I talk to.
To my knowledge most of our customers are
not using wheel spacers with our wheels, as wheel spacers are not necessary for the majority of our customers. There are a few customers with more extreme setups that have added wheel spacers, but they are definitely in the minority. For the majority of 4th and 5th Gen 4Runner owners that I speak with lower offsets (into the -20mm or less range) and wider widths (9" +) would make their 4th and 5th Gen 4Runners undriveable.
With that said, we are always and have always been very receptive to offering new and unique fitments that our customers with specific needs request. We can definitely develop wider and even lower offset wheels if we have enough customer demand for them. If we have enough customer demand we can turn the wheels into a full production piece with a price point the same or similar to our new wheels.
Otherwise, you mentioned that you have custom forged wheels right now. We have the capability to make our some of our designs in custom, one-off forged versions with specific widths and offsets as well. The cost is considerably higher due to the nature of making wheels one set at a time vs. a full production run, but it is definitely something that we can do.

Finally got ours installed and very happy with the stance. The combination of these rims and 285s put us approx 1/2" past the fender wheel.
