** SOLD** 1987 4Runner 22RE 5-Speed in Charleston, SC - $2,750 OBO
It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to finally part with my beloved 1987 Toyota 4Runner.
She has a strong and reliable 4cyl (22RE), with a 5-Speed Manual, and 4x4. I purchased her in 2010, with 210,000 miles from North Carolina. I believe I am the forth owner. Currently she is 360,000 miles young. Over the last seven years I have meticulously ensured that she is a reliable daily driver and trip vehicle. My daily commute is roughly 30 miles, round trip, of interstate and in town driving, and she regularly gets 20mpg. Recently, on a trip to Columbia and back (200 miles), I ran 65-70mph (2,800 rpms), and she got 22mpg. A couple years back, I drove from Charleston to the Chesapeake Bay and back via US-17, along the coast (800 miles), averaging 55-60mph (2,500 rpms) and she got 24mpg. 85% of the miles I’ve put on her have been roadway. The only "off-roading" I’ve done is on gravel and dirt roads through the Frances Marion National Forest to get to hunting spots. I’ve tried to keep everything as close to stock condition as possible. No lift kit, or giant tires. The top comes off, but I haven’t removed it for a couple years. The top's gaskets are still in good shape and do not leak. I have the original owner’s manual/booklet, and all maintenance/repair records. Below is a breakdown of what I’ve put into it over seven years, as well as what it could use. This truck would be perfect as a daily driver, “top off” weekender, or platform for an off-road/expedition rig.

Exhaust (Tail pipe fell of, and muffler is rusted)
Windshield (Has a crack on the passenger side, I have a replacement, just needs installed)
No Radio/Speakers (Old units were removed, I have new replacements, just need installed)
No AC (Maybe just Freon, or Compressor)
No Cruise Control (Maybe just wire)
