I hate to do it, but I have to sell my all time favorite vehicle. I'll be brief and let the pictures speak for themselves. This one is nice but not a show truck or rock crawler by any means.
Nitty Gritty: 330,000 miles on odometer (it reads fairly fast, so really about 250K). Newer 5 speed trans and transfer case. Don't know if engine is original or rebuilt as I bought it from a dealer with 220K. Great compression and runs excellent (see exception below). Interior is good to excellent and has many NICE custom accoutrements. Full gauges. Custom center consoles. Great stereo though not one of those "young guy" street thumpers. It off roads like it's brand new. All maintenance has been kept up but no receipts (I don't save them). Newer tires and black spoke wheels.
The Bad: This truck has a leaky windshield. I have battled it on and off in minor ways (sealants) without taking the windshield out. That needs to be done! There is some rust around the windshield body which should be ground away and treated. There is a problem that I have tried to diagnose and have been unsuccessful thus far. When it rains (frequent on the Oregon coast) it tends to run rough. A definite miss. It is inconsistent. Sometimes it runs great. Other times it will sputter quite a bit. I believe it is fuel related though I have done all the usual stuff (new filter a while ago, checked tank, cleaned fuel rail and injectors lightly). I'm sure some of you could figure it out in the blink of an eye.
The Bottom Line: I really hate to see this truck go, but I must as I am getting to old to have such a vehicle, and work on one as well.
CASH ONLY. I am asking $2,500.00 for it. That is probably low but what the heck. PM me for contact info if you are interested.
Thanks!
