I have a 1987 Turbo 4Runner for sale in North West Alabama, I am in the Muscle Shoals area.
This is a great rust free project The motor and chassis has approximately 135 thousand miles on it, the turbo did the standard turbo thing and the waste gate burned through, this is a common issue on the CT20 turbo, I have two messed up turbo and all the parts (could use a new exhaust)
the body is in great shape, (see pictures) the rear bumper was snagged while going forward and pulled out on one side but there is no damage to the body or tailgate A factory or custom bumper would be a simple bolt on. The previous owner did this and I have no idea how, maybe pulling somebody out of the mud or something.
the Interior could use some work, the previous owner removed the carpet and spray in bed lined the floor this would just cover over if somebody wished. The console needs some attention but has the rear air and heat. The passenger side seat has an issue with the cable that releases the slides and that will need to be fixed.
I purchased this and drove it a while then the turbo preassure started to drop so i removed the Turbo and turned it into a project, it has been sitting for about a year, I put the motor up properly when I realized I was not going to finish it anytime soon.
I am asking 1200.00or offer for the 4Runner (edit to change price)
I have a new Garret turbo I was setting up to put on it, this I would like 400.00
I have custom machined adaptors to install the garret turbo = 150.00
I have a few other parts if your interested such as a blow off valve or turbo timer and gauge pod. Etc.
