Moving along my 1993 4Runner -
It has 183,xxx miles and I had the head gaskets, water pump and timing belt replaced around 163,xxx miles. A new thermostat and radiator was installed around 158,xxx (yep, follow the dots on the timeline and you see that it overheated due to bad radiator and shortly after the headgaskets went). It runs great and everything works (as in cold AC, all power windows including rear sliding window and sunroof). 4-wheel drive works and it runs excellently in the snow and on the beach.
Cosmetically, it has some rust above the fenders and a large dent in the passenger side door (compliments of the wife), but the dent does not affect any operations - the door still seals fine and the window goes up/down with no problems. It passed DE inspection at the beginning of this year and is tagged till' March 2012 (did not have any issues passing).
In summary, the good - everything works, it is definately road worthy and does awesome in the snow and sand. What the vehicle will need in the near future is an alignment and brakes. Also, it does drip oil, not a lot - a few drips after it is shut off. I am pretty sure this is not the valve cover gaskets as it had the drip before I had the head gaskets done and still has it after it was complete. My guess is either the oil pan gasket or rear seal - either way, I did not want to invest the time into fixing it as I don't mind a couple drops here and there (does that really sound good???) - anyway - what I am trying to say is that it's not enough to worry me and I have been living with it for 5-years now and not had a problem.

I priced the vehicle @ 2,500 to leave room for negotiations - however, I can't stand negotiations - so we can skip the headaches and the first $2,000 takes it.
