Hi folks !
Sadly, I am looking to sell my 3rd Gen 4Runner; I haven’t used it an awful lot since I got my Land Cruiser a while back, and I need the garage space for my kid’s cars. I love the thing but honestly cannot see myself coming back to it other than around the block now and again, so wanting to pass onto it’s next loving owner !
So, here’s a quick summary;
212,368 miles
New timing belt, water pump and ball joints at 188k, new plugs and cables around 200k
Well serviced and maintained up to about 2018 (then very few miles since then, oil and filer changed in 2020 and only a dozen miles since then)
Supremely reliable, no OBD2 codes, tyres are old but still in great condition, interior is in great condition, external oil cooler fitted to avoid pink milkshake, battery well maintained on a non-sulfinating charger, some parts (filters, plugs, spare front CV shaft, spare trans cooler microfilter), two spare wheels (one regular spare underneath, another matching alloy with Duratrac tyre), roof rack available if wanted, new rear door gas shocks/struts, cold AC, fitted with five Duratrac 265/75R16 tires, new txdot inspection sticker, starts immediately even when cold, no issues running or driving. Front end feels a bit light so might need an alignment.

Now for the bad:
Paint clearcoat is pretty much done, quite a bit of flaking but the paint underneath is still holding
Sunroof is leaky – fine in a shower but leaks if left standing in rain
Radio antenna removed, I was planning to do the Taco antenna mod, but life overtook that project
Hasn’t been serviced in a while so would benefit from a fluids change
