*SOLD* FS: 2001 SR5 4x4 Silver 124k $9,000 - NJ
*SOLD ON 4-20-17*
Hey guys I am selling my Millennium Silver 2001 SR5 with124,2XX miles. It has the 3.4/Auto 4WD with center locker. The truck is overall in very good condition for its age and I have put a lot of my time and $ into the rig. Mechanically everything is solid, she runs and drives smooth with no CELs. The exterior and interior are clean for this year rig and I took very good care of the rig and I have receipts for the work done. I have never taken this rig off road it was my DD to work 15 miles away up until last week. Many extra/spare parts included. I am located in the Toms River area in Ocean County NJ (exit 77 off Parkway). I will be posting the rig on Craigslist as well but would rather sell to a member here. Willing to meet at exit 74 or 98 Rest Stop for serious buyers. Any questions let me know. Here are the details (Sure I forgot some). Clean title in hand. $9,000.
-OEM valve cover gaskets, spark plug tubes, cam seals, washer seals, PCV valve grommet, upper and lower intake gaskets, air filter and Denso plugs, NGK wires. I just did this about 3 weeks ago and used Toyota FIPG appropriately (Special thanks to Timmy the Toolman). Also cleaned the valve covers, throttle body and intake plenums when they were off.
-OEM timing belt/water pump, crank seals, tensioner, gaskets, all belts and thermostat done at around 98k right after I bought the truck.
-Front-rear-center diff fluids, transmission, coolant and power steering fluid were flushed at same time water pump/timing belt was done.
-I just flushed the transmission fluid (not just a drain and fill) and flushed coolant out with distilled water and rust evaporator about 6 weeks ago.
-Changed oil/filter 25 miles ago, done every 3k miles
-Both upstream/downstream A/F sensor and O2 sensor replaced this past fall.
-New Walker SS OE style muffler installed a few months ago
-ISR and Elbow Mod
-Cleaned MAF with MAF cleaner/Seafoamed TB every year
Toytec/Eibach 3” Springs
Bilstein 5100 (Tundra) on 2nd perch
8 Wrap LC Coils
Tokico Black LC shocks
Front Differential Drop
Sway bar bushings
New CV axles with lifetime warranty from Advance Auto
New pads in front/shoes in rear
New Inner/Outer Tie rods+Allignment done post lift
1.25" Wheel Spacers all around
285/70/17 Nitto Trail Grapplers (C Rated) with about 8k miles on (plenty of meat)
17x7.5 Trail Wheels off a 2016 Trail Edition (plasti dipped them black when they were brand new wheels I got from a co-worker who replaced them after buying rig)(rotated in the Fall)
Clear front corner lights and clear turn signals
Sylvania bulbs
1998 Bumper
Sony Headunit with Bluetooth mic, Sirius ready, w/ remote
Front windows tinted to 20%
All windows/locks work as they should
Disabled the power ant.- I used Sirius Radio
Interior is clean, non smoker and rarely used the back seats
All weather rubber floor mats
Windshield has 2 tiny rock chips that were repaired by Safelite
Also, the bottom of hood has rock chips you can still see, I filled them in with touchup/clearcoat paint and waxed it as best I could… I was going to replace the hood with a Sport Ed hood
I painted the bumpers, grille, side view mirrors and door handles satin black to give it the 5th Gen Trail Edition look almost 2 years ago and just re-did them with 3 clear coats this past month as the side views and front bumper started to chip.
I recently wire wheeled and sanded the surface rust on the frame. Then I degreased it, prepped with rust killer/metal etch spray, followed by 3 coats of rust convertor. I finished everything with 3 coats of chassis paint and I have not yet fluid filmed/oiled since I did the rust treatment. 2 summers ago I used Eastwoods internal frame coating after rinsing the inside of the frame with a hose with the front up on jack stands.
Extra Parts :
Original CVs, inner boot on pass side is torn I have a brand new OEM inner boot
Original silencer
Steering Rack bushings
Fuel Filter, supposed to be OEM but I couldn’t verify so I didn’t install it
OEM Oil Filter
Original Radio
Mudflaps
“Toyota” emblem
Guage cluster I used the guage faces out of, my RPM guage face was bubbling so I had to buy whole cluster (PITA to change)
Others I am sure I’m forgetting
I was going to do the LBJs this summer, so they are the originals however they aren’t showing signs of failure I was just going to do it for peace of mind. Also the UCAs and LCAs are original but also solid. I just detailed the rig, came out pretty damn good for its age.
Any questions just ask, thanks.
