For sale is my beloved 2002 4runner I am the 2nd owner and I bought it in 2008, I know I am going to regret it is time to let it go. Clean title in hand. It doesn't get used nearly enough and at this point is just a backup rig/camping/Tahoe ski day rig. Recently was my DD while my '19 f150 was getting a new trans under warranty...
2002 4runner SR5 4x4 312k
OME suspension all around 881 coils in the front, 890 with airlift 1000 air bags in the rear
Stubbs Welding SKO-HD sliders
265/75/16 duratracs with <10k miles
Tundra big brake upgrade
All new A/c system in 2018
Cam and crank seals, Water pump, pulleys tensioner, spark plugs 291,512 miles.
Regular oil changes with penzoil Platnum or Mobile1, typically anywhere from 3-5k but recently i have been changing it annually due to not putting many miles on it. I have put 21k miles on it in the last 4 years.
Lower all joints replaced every 100k as preventative maint. LBJ, and new lca with bushings and alignment cams done at 280k
Aftermarket atf cooler with Oil thermostat. It is almost impossible to get it above 185* Fluid changed regularly. Radiator is bypassed so the pink milkshake will never happen.
Lots of wiring setup for an overland build with custom fuse/relay panel in the rear and front controls.
Led light bar and fog light.
On board air compressor, the compressor is shot, but all the wiring works so it would be an easy swap to put in something else. I haven't used it for years, I just carry one in a bag so I can swap it to other rigs.
New evap system(charcoal canister, rollover check valve, gas cap, vac lines, etc). new CA compliant catalytic converter
Some minor issues typical with a vehicles of this age - Fading paint, front driveshaft transfer case seal is weeping ($30 in parts + time), steering wheel leather is shot, suspension bushings have 312K on them, windshield has a crack
