FS 3rd gen JL Stealthbox, $70, Long Valley, NJ

My 3rd gen died last week so I bought a 4th gen. Means I don't have any use for the JL Stealthbox I was using. It has gray carpeting. It's in good condition.

I had it hooked up to an Alpine MRV-F450 5 channel amp so it wasn't hammered with every frequency. I never blasted it or used for heavy bass. Sub is 10". I think it's a jl10-w2, but I'm not sure.

It has the cover.

I'm in northern NJ, specifically Long Valley, but I can meet within reason. It's just taking up space so I'd rather someone use it.

Asking $70. I looked on ebay and saw a new one for 600 and can't find any used through classifieds.

I can try but it's pretty heavy. I'd expect it'll be expensive especially out to CA.

If no one locally wants it I can try to figure it out tomorrow somehow.
 
Since everyone is asking about getting it shipped, does anyone know the best way to ship something this big? I never have so it's new to me. UPS, USPS, etc? Any particular carrier that's better for this?

My experience has been limited to UPS sized parcels, so this 3 foot long 20 lb thing is new to me.
 
Best bet would be UPS some like this better thru UPS and better rate than USPS.Call UPS @1800pickups and they will give u quote over the phone.My shipping code is 11727.My guess would be $20.00- 35.00.Hope it'll help you.
 
Ok so I went to the UPS store and was given some quotes for shipping.

I checked out 95125 and 92626, both were quoted at either 155 or 110.

It weighs 26 lbs and had rough dimensions of 32" x 21", which he said was a few inches over a limit. So anything in this dimension could weigh up to 111 lbs and still cost the same to ship.

So 11727, the shipping wouldn't be much cheaper.

83686, He gave me either 123 or 60.

The reason for the two prices was one method would be safer and ensure it wasn't banged around. The second was what he called riskier which would mean it would arrive in questionable condition. Meaning the driver might drop it or something.

I asked about flat rate shipping but was told they didn't have that. It was a "UPS Store" so maybe main UPS centers have different rates?

Considering shipping seems to cost up to double what I'm asking, I understand if no one wants it shipped.

Local interest is more than welcome.

Appreciate the quotes, seems pricey and makes sense due to the size and weight. Looks like locals have the upper hand on this AWESOME deal!! I would have already picked up if I was local. GLWS, I envy whomever gets this

Thanks for quotes but makes sense to let the locals have the stab on that. Looks like I will need to be building my own stealth box...
