I've got a AOR front bumper and a rear bumper I have welded into the frame, you think 1.5 would make that look dumb as shit?

Totally forgot to respond before, but I got the 1.5 with a welded rear bumper. I'll take a few pics tomorrow so you can see how it looks.

It's probably been mentioned before, but when you talk about the bumper needing to be raised, does this include the stock bumper or aftermarket ones? I'm interested in the 1.5 lift so I can flip my hitch and so I'll have a bit extra height when I put my 8 wraps on.

yes you can (looks better raised) both. mainly stock bumper and plate bumpers need to be raised to look like that match and dont have a 1.5" gap.

but i didnt raise my tube bumper on the front. your choice, my instructions make is very simple and detailed ( @tmax ) if you read them. lol

You can only flip your hitch if its the 3 triangle bolts on the side.

there were 2 types of hitched that were attached to our 4runners.
the ones that were welded to the cross members (like mine that cant be flipped)
of the others that were bolted that can be flipped with a 1.5" BL

you do this to raise the receiver part above the hitch instead of being below it.
if you look around page 3 you will see where i tried on the welded one. does not work.

Yeah I have the bolted on one, although the bolts are very rusty. After going down some trails a few weeks ago I realized that that was basically my lowest point and I would keep dragging it on the ground. 1.5 should fix that and give me some height so I don't have to climb down into my rig. (Tall people problems)

Question, did you have to drop the radiator for the hoses not to be slightly crimped? i know the 2" inch lifts recommend relocating the radiator, and this is only .5 less then that....

i read the entire thread and forgot what comes with it... lol i'll read the original list again also

Yes I do have a few in stock.
No you do not have to drop the radiator. Just pull off the lower shroud. Literally takes 15 seconds. Hoses are/ do not look tight at all. No worries there.

Body lift comes with new bolts, body lift, installation instructions, steering spacer)
(2 or 3 bolts and nuts to help steady the factory bumper might be needed - I point it out in the instructions) so you can purchase from a hardware store easy.

sounds like a great setup! i'll get ahold of you when i'm getting ready for the install! i still have to do a little maintenance.... if i get the 'fun stuff' before i do the 'needed stuff' the maintenance usually then gets put off until something fails...

Just put the .5 kit on as I did not want much body gap. GREAT kit easy to install .

You could probably paint them. Scuff them up real good to get the paint to bite.
