ROOFTOP TENT for 4 runner
I wanted a rooftop tent but didn't want to spend thousands of $$$ so I made one! This summer I bought an RV so this one is up for sale!
I started with a Kamp Rite Double tent cot in and built a custom frame to support it on the roof of my 2000 4 runner ( must have factory roof racks ). The tent cot has a rain fly and zippered access on all sides... You can access tent from any side. It deploys in 5 minutes. Less than 6" tall stored.
Great for trips, camping or day use at the beach!
Quality... I am a mechanical Engineer and I designed the frame to be light but very strong using aluminum extrusion and reinforced corner plating and brackets.

Aluminum frame
Aluminum rails that sit on your factory roof rack mounts.
Original tent cot legs (may be swapped back for ground use.)
May fit other vehicles with minimal modifications.
