How's it going. I purchased a pair of oem retrofit projector headlights off another forum member back in November 2012, but have now decided to sell my 4Runner and get into a Tundra Crewmax so I put the oem original headlights back on my Runner and want to try to sell the projectors separately.
I am using the description and some photos from the original OP post, so I hope this okay to do, I guess I'll find out. Original OP description is, "left and right oem lamps,Projectors, 50 watt ballast and 5000k 50 watt bulbs and wiring harness. all complete, mini D2S projector setup.
I paid $550 and will start with asking for $425 obo. The right side headlight at times does not turn on, but after turning lights off/on it turns on with no issue and this does not happen every time, but every so often. Since I know nothing about the wiring setup of the headlights I didn't try to figure it out as I didn't want to mess with the the wiring. Again, it only happens every so often. I figure if your knowledgeable about these retrofits or wiring, should be easy enough to figure out why the right side does this. The left side turns on all the time with no issue. Also, with the right side headlight a small plastic clip was broken causing the assembly to pop out of alignment. I figured out what it was and simply removed the same plastic clip off of one of my non retrofitted headlights put it on the retrofit lamp and problem was solved. But, since I put my non retrofit back on the Runner I need the plastic clip back. Its an easy step to remove the clip so this in my opinion is not an issue, and I included a couple of photos of the clip.
