Here were my measurements from the center of the rim to the bottom of the fender well with bilstein 5100s, top notch, 1.5" rear spacers, FJ 4x4 springs:
LF 24.5"
RF 24.5"
LR 25.5"
RR 25.5"

So like 3"-3.5" in the front.
 
Also, were you able to fit your 285/70s with this lift without having to do a bmc?

I was able to fit the 285/70/17s with this lift. All I had to do was push the fender liner forward and trim some of the front bumper and remove the front mud flaps. (all very easy to do)
Keep in mind, I have aftermarket UCAs and spidertrax spacers...not sure if that makes a difference.

Did you max the caster out with UCA's by chance? If so, that is probably why.
