FS 4th GEN v8 Hitch Receiver - $80 - Los Angeles

V8 hitch receiver from my 05 V8. I got a coastal offroad bumper so it's of no use to me anymore. This is the one that bolts to the side frame members to get a 7200lb tow rating, as opposed to the 5000lb tow rating on v6 models.

LA area but I drive all over the west quite often so can maybe coordinate a meet up elsewhere in the socal/ central cal. region as far up as reno.

Frame receiver hitch

Hello yourfriendcasey,

I have a 2017 SR5 and future upgrade is a frame bolted receiver to replace factory receive. Does your receiver affect spare tire space? Any photos?

About your question, could be wrong but I don’t think a 4th Gen hitch will fit a 5th Gen.

Yes, its still available. It should work on any 4th gen.. i think it was a stock feature for v8s but was an additional cost for v6s.

Sorry, just now seeing this. I am not 100% sure but I don't think it would fit a 5th gen.

I may be in Reno as soon as the first weekend in March, but I'm not sure if I'll be flying or driving. Let me try to lock in some details on that.

Do you plan on coming down south any time in the near future?
 
Furthest south I might be would be Death Valley sometime in the spring, but thats really tentative . Fingers crossed it works out you're driving [emoji1696]

Sorry for the late response, I haven't been on here in awhile. I was in Reno but I flew so I wouldn't have been able to take it with me. I'm not too sure when I'll be up that way again

Im not opposed, but the shipping i think is going to be pretty expensive, i’d guess maybe $80-100 bucks. if you want to do it still let me know. i’d go down to 50 for the hitch if you are willing to pay for shipping.. just can’t give a real estimate of shipping cost
 
Not to hijack this thread but I also have a V8 load distribution hitch off my 07 for sale in Folsom (Sacramento area). PM me if interested
