FS 5th Gen. Full Length Roof Racks by drabbits

Just ordered mine last night, no insert, but an extra cross bar, and extra mesh to fill that small void in the very back. Should be expecting delivery around the 20th of next month... Will take some pics when its done and mounted! Excited for Sure!
 
I'm 100% in for a rack.

Anybody in the San Antonio / Austin / Corpus / Houston or maybe even Dallas area ordering a rack? Want to save on shipping, possibly powder coat?
 
I work in LA is it possible to drop by the shop and check the rack out? If so please PM me the info thanks... BTW great idea with those removable bars, hopefully they would work with a roof top tent as well...

As a matter of fact this someone was supposed to.... Then the rain and "cold/wet" weather came and made the paint cure extra slow so it wasn't ready for Tues and I am not off again until Saturday. So it has been postponed unti Sat AM.

Have him add a couple extra coats since you're waiting now...

Houston here...

I'm a very strong "possible" on shipping & powder coat. Need to recover from some expenses first but I do have a roof rack on my short list so this would be opportune.

I am liking the fact that alex gets bored (maybe not the correct word as he is busy) and keeps coming up with new stuff to make it even better.

Please add multiple coats of paint to mine :clap2: Already looking forward to picking it up...

Alright folks, let me start by saying Alex was a pleasure to do business with, completely opposite from some of the difficulty I have (and others have) with some of the big name guys out there. He responds in a timely manner to your questions, obviously wants to make a high quality, well made product, and of course is well priced (something Gobi could learn from). Everyone should buy one of his racks and any other metal gear he comes up with. No, he did not ask me to plug his work, I just am beyond happy with it and want to share the word.
