I want to take a moment to honor a good friend of mine, Tim Demoss. He was a motorcyclist with a passion for fixing and building cafe, vintage, and streetfighter style motorcycles,
who's life was tragically cut short earlier this past week. He was a phenomenal bike mechanic/builder and an incredible metal fabricator.
His talents were overshadowed by his kind heartedness. In spite of being an owner of a busy motorcycles shop,
Tim made time to help me build and weld roof racks when I was swamped with orders.
He was an extraordinary soul, and I am fortunate to have called him my friend. See you on the other side...

Alex did a great job - the tabs are all from scratch - we didn't even take off the rack to weld on...these are as fitted as you can get - lol.

After seeing [MENTION=90255]TPatt88[/MENTION] set up I went with the gobi ladder as well, of course I hate all of you that have racks, etc. on already. I'm patiently waiting while I plan lighting, [MENTION=50210]KVA[/MENTION] it took long enough to get some pictures up. I'm now leaning towards a Rigid SR for the rack, maybe 30". Of course at this point none of this will be in place for my week long camping, hiking, off-loading through Moab and southwest Colorado in a few weeks. But hey I can't complain as I'm getting a week of awesomeness!

You won't be disappointed! It's a high quality piece of kit and is very useful. I have yet to load my rack up but can tell you that climbing onto the rack is 100 times easier with the Gobi ladder. And it is a helluva lot nicer than jumping off the top of the truck to get down!

No noise. Have driven freeway and streets...nothing. Alex hooked me up with a thicker fairing and it is 100x better in my opinion.
