Thanks [MENTION=55815]Okki[/MENTION] the mesh on your gobi looks similar enough to the camelback that it should work, I'm going to order one and see how it goes when my rack comes in. Have you driven with much altitude change with them loaded? That would be my only concern, when I go from 5k to 10k with one loaded with water.

Indianapolis to top of Imogen Pass, CO without issue... that's 12900ft. I was more concerned about the fuel one (leaking fuel can result in paint damage), but like I said.. no issues to date.

Yes! I need/want a hi-lift mount and an accessories (shovel/ax) mount.

I was looking at Fourtreks but thanks for mentioning Axia Alloys, I'll check them out too.

For the hi-lift mount, I looked quite a bit and settled on the version from Hi-Lift. It allows you to mount on the vertical cross bar between the two layers of the rack. Works well.

Axia is probably best suited for light mounts but they do have some generic product...I have ordered three different versions of stuff to test and might be selling it soon...lol. Brand new, never mounted/bolted - only tested.

Would the shipping box fit in the back, potentially with the lift gate strapped down to it? Was trying to avoid having to install at the shipping company parking lot.

I'm pretty positive it will not fit in the trunk. Ratchet strap it to the stock rack as nice farwell! :thumb:

It's on!

The ratchet strap worked perfectly, maybe another scratch on the xm antennae but there were multiple already (another of the many reasons for the rack).

Installed last night pretty late in the garage, finish looks great on the rack. I'd show a picture but it would be the same as [MENTION=90255]TPatt88[/MENTION] since my truck is silver. And he takes better pictures anyway. Thanks [MENTION=68079]drabbits[/MENTION]

Now on to the Toytec lift sitting in the box in my garage....

Is the bottom tubing height above or below the top of the fin antenna? I was wondering of you could remove the peninsula on the top tube but still have the fin protected?

The fin is higher then the bottom tube by a good margin. If you have sat radio it might interfere as well, my signal seems a little weaker with the rack on, at lest when driving west. Go figure.
