FS: 5th Gen UNOPENED Gobi Stealth Rack $2200 obo, Orange County, CA

Hello there,

This is my first post but I’ve been a long time lurker. I ordered a Gobi Stealth rack back in august and unfortunately my 4Runner was totaled since then in January. I have decided to wait until the 6th Gen comes out to see if I like it before jumping into another 4R. Good news is I now have a brand new gobi rack that I can sell to an enthusiast.

Details:

-BRAND NEW UNOPENED Gobi Stealth Rack multi light set up, NO Sunroof (figured this would be more useful, the sunroof will still open there will just be the steel mesh there)

-Buyer must pick up at Rebel Off Road in Laguna Hills, California or arrange shipping with them after receipt of payment.

-Upon receipt of payment I will inform Rebel Off Road Of the new buyer.

-The sale is time sensitive as they will not hold
It for long and I will be forced to accept store credit.

Again I really just want this rack to go to an enthusiast who will enjoy it like I would have.

So let me get this straight...

Buyer pays you... then you pay Rebel Offroad? Thats why you would need to accept store credit? Or SC for the return?

I ordered the rack through them and it is no refunds on Gobi Racks since they are made to order. The rack is currently sitting in their shop and is mine, now that my 4R is totaled I either have to sell it and have the new buyer pick it up there or accept store credit and they sell it.

I don't get it. Why can't they just give you your rack that you paid for just like normal monetary transactions work? Exchange american currency, acquire product. Then, you sell the rack without the shadiness?

Forum classified sales scams are pretty high these days, this definitely seems like it falls into this category. You say you’re a longtime lurker but you just joined on March 5th and this is your only post.
I could be wrong but definitely seems to set off a few red flags.

really guys this is legit....the same dealer has my NIB supercharger....I hate to let it go, but i dont want to have to buy premium fuel so I am going to let it go at a loss. Send me $5000 and I will inform them to release to you. I need to sell asap as I need money to visit my uncle in Nigeria.
